The 28-year-old is suspected to have injured himself while cleaning his service weapon. Meanwhile, regarding the case, it is learned that the Police Supervision Authority has launched an investigation into the case.
" On 24.05.2024, around 18:00, a FS citizen, 28 years old, an employee of the Republic Guard, who is suspected of self-injuring himself with a service weapon, presented himself to receive medical help at SUT.
In relation to the case, the AMP has been notified, and in cooperation with the investigative group, work is being done to clarify the circumstances of the event ," the police announced.
