The technical director and the person in charge of a construction site have been arrested by the Korça police after an Indian man died while working the day before.
According to the police report, they have been identified as Maksim Zisi and Spartak Halili.
The 47-year-old died immediately at the scene after a piece of marble crushed him.
"Maksim Zisi, 70 years old, and Spartak Halili, 54 years old, residents of Korça, with the duties of technical manager and site manager of a subject, after on 08.02.2025, while carrying out marble works, a piece of marble broke and crushed a 47-year-old Indian citizen, who died at the scene," the police informed today.
The procedural materials were passed to the Korça Prosecutor's Office.
