A 34-year-old man has been arrested by police in the city of Laç after being found armed with a pistol.
During the physical search, police found and seized a pistol with a comb and combat ammunition, which the 34-year-old was carrying without a permit.
"Following the work of providing information and cracking down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the "Eagle" special forces, based on the information obtained that a citizen was circulating armed, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Security".
As a result of the operation, in the city of Laç, the Police services found a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle, in which the armed citizen was suspected of being traveling, and stopped it for inspection.
During the physical search, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 1 firearm, a pistol with a comb and combat ammunition.
At the end of the procedural actions, citizen EP, 34 years old, resident of Laç, Kurbin, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
"The procedural materials were passed on to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
