The police officer who was inside the barbershop that was shot with a barrage of bullets yesterday evening in Lezha has testified to the police. He said that he was there by chance and that when the attack occurred, he fired his gun with the intention of neutralizing the perpetrators.
Police experts returned again this Monday morning to the village of Rrilë in Lezha, near the business where the gun attack occurred yesterday evening.
Investigators are taking blood samples from the scene, which will be DNA tested to see if we are dealing with another injured person and his identity. Meanwhile, from the shooting, 4 bullets have also hit two other businesses in front of the barbershop, but fortunately the people inside have miraculously escaped.
The incident left 30-year-old Sokol Daci, the owner of the barbershop, wounded with 3 bullets. It is suspected that a member of the Nikulaj tribe, who appears to have been the target of the attack, was also wounded. He was inside the barbershop, along with a police officer and other people.
30-year-old Sokol Daci was taken to the Trauma Hospital, but is in stable condition. Sokol Daci does not appear to have a criminal record or be a problematic person in the area. He was also known as Barber Coli.
