A 23-year-old man has been arrested by the Burrel police, and his 22-year-old brother is wanted, as they are accused of selling cannabis doses near schools and in different areas of the city of Burrel.
The 23-year-old identified as Jurxhini Sada, after seeing the blue uniforms, threw a quantity of cannabis and an iron handle from the window of the "Benz" type vehicle he was driving, and tried to leave but without success.
During the checks in the apartment of the two brothers, the police found another quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa, divided into doses ready for sale (174 doses in total), 47 cannabis seeds, 1 transceiver radio, 1 multifunctional belt, 1 vest to the police, as well as 2 metal sticks, 1 cutting tool (knife) and 1 Kalashnikov comb with 25 cartridges, which were seized as material evidence together with the doses and the punch booster, which were found at the time of the arrest, the mobile phone of the arrested person and the "Benz" type vehicle, which was used for the distribution of cannabis doses.
The police declare that the in-depth investigations have shown that the 23-year-old was carrying out the criminal activity in collaboration with his brother, Andi Sada, 22, who is wanted.
"From the in-depth investigations, it has emerged that the citizen JS carried out the criminal activity of selling doses of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa, together with his brother, the citizen AS, 22 years old. Intensive work continues to locate, capture and extract the 22- year-old, before criminal liability", the police announced.
The attack on the criminal activity of the two brothers took place within the framework of the "Tempulli" mega-operation.
