Cocaine criminal group destroyed in Italy, 4 Albanians arrested; the scheme used for drug trafficking

The Italian authorities have destroyed a network of trafficking in narcotic substances, consisting of 4 Albanians.

It is suspected that there was a couple at the head of the group, where the court ordered the security measure of prison arrest for the husband and house arrest for the wife.

Meanwhile, for the other two responsible for a smaller number of sales of narcotics, the court banned them from staying in the province of Forlì-Cesena.

It is reported that the suspected perpetrators recruited young people from a small village in Albania and paid them a ticket to come to the neighboring country, accommodated them and then put them to work distributing cocaine in different areas.

The investigation began in April of this year, following reports of drug trafficking activities taking place in the coastal cities. A month later, two people were arrested, a 34-year-old and a 20-year-old, also Albanians.

After searching their apartment in Cesenatico, officers found a quantity of cocaine and €6,000 believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
