Details of the explosion with explosives in Berat have been revealed. The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning, when a quantity of explosives was placed on the door of a bar, which caused extensive material damage.
Top Channel journalist Dorjana Bezat reports that the explosive was thrown at the door of the bar, which has been out of operation for two years.
The journalist reveals that the incident is suspected to be related to an injury that the bar owner's sons inflicted a few weeks before today's explosion.
On March 25, at around 7:00 PM, in the Çelepias neighborhood, Berat, in a bar, it is suspected that for weak motives, citizen AF, 37 years old, injured citizen TB, 85 years old, with a cutting tool (knife), who is in the hospital.
"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday evening, regarding the injury with a cutting tool (knife), of an 85-year-old man, in the "Çelepias" neighborhood, we inform that following the investigative actions, his brother, citizen TF, 28 years old, has been identified as an accomplice of citizen AF. The search for the capture of 2 citizens, for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury", committed in collaboration, continues, as well as the investigations to clarify the circumstances of the case. The injured person continues to be under the care of doctors, currently out of danger to his life," the police statement said.
