A quantity of 65 kg of cannabis sativa, which is suspected to originate from the Albanian territory, was seized by the police in Montenegro.

The border police in the neighboring country spotted 2 people who were carrying bags near the border, which they then handed over to a third person who loaded them into a vehicle and started moving in the direction of a village on the outskirts of Podgorica.

After that, the vehicle in question was stopped by the Montenegrin police and 60 different packages were found inside it, which after measurement resulted in about 65 kg of cannabis sativa.

The 41-year-old Montenegrin man was arrested, while it is suspected that the other 2 are Albanian citizens, who were able to pass the drug through the green border and deliver it to the Montenegrin trafficker on the other side.
