Along with the testimony of Justice Associate Amarildo Nikolli, SPAK has used as supporting evidence the statement of Nikolli's wife, Xhovana Nikolli, who became famous on social media for her confrontation with the hired killer, Nuredin Duman.
The man and woman have supported their testimonies given to SPAK and the Vlora prosecutor's office, leading to the formation of a single piece of evidence that is consistent with other evidence administered in the file.
Xhovana Nikolli's testimony comes to light 1 day after the Special Court of Appeal sentenced Leonard Luzi to 10 years in prison, Justice collaborator Amarildo Nikolli to 2 years and 9 months, and Muharem Korovesh to 6 years and 8 months.
The three people, along with the wanted person Erio Zejno, were mobilized in August 2023 to kill Inez Hajrulla and Ervis Matodashaj in exchange for thousands of euros.
Their assassination was not carried out because Amarildo Nikolli was unable to find any of the targets in the Uji i Ftohtë area in Vlora. But also due to the fact that Amarildo Nikolli was arrested during an operation carried out by agents of the "Fast Albania" sector.
After Nikolli's arrest with a gun in his waistband, the Vlora police accompanied and questioned his wife, Xhovana Nikolli, who, among other things, explained and confirmed Amarildo Nikolli's statement that he had made to the police.
"...I know Leonard Luzi, and on one occasion I overheard a conversation between Leonard and Amarildo, when he was at home in Vlora, where Leonard asked him, through Amarildo, to kill two people he called "Ini" and "Qorri"..." - Xhovana Nikolli stated to the police.
She further provided explanations for various situations regarding the relationship that the 4 people had established with each other.
"...Also during our stay in Vlora, I learned that Leonardi had two friends, one with the nickname "fshatari" and another called "Erjo". He kept Erjo closer and must have been his cousin, while he kept "fshatari" a little further away. These two people would come to the house in Vlora every morning and drink coffee. They would take him downstairs to the bar and go upstairs to our house. They carried pistols like Leonardi, "fshatari" and Erjo. I heard these things from Erjo, "Daku" and "fshatari". "Fshatari" and Erjo would sometimes clean their weapons in our house, where we lived in Vlora..." - Xhovana Nikolli claimed to the police.
The same testimony was given by Amarildo Nikolli, who, in addition to his statement, also handed over his phone to the police, revealing the breakdown of the communication messages between him, Leonard Luzi and Muharem Koroveshi.
