Florjan Kollonata, 27 years old, from Korça and Xhentino Pllana, 28 years old, from Pogradeci, both residents of Tirana, were arrested by the capital's police around noon on Saturday at the south-eastern bus terminal, as they were transporting a Kalashnikov from Korça. to the capital.
Their capture was made after the information that the police was able to provide through information channels, while the weapon was wrapped in a blanket and put in a large bag.
Two young men were found with a bread knife, while 3 mobile devices were seized.
The two friends came from Korça by bus. The reason for bringing the weapon to Tirana is not yet known, while investigations have begun to fully clarify the incident.
The weapon will be sent to the laboratory for examination, to see if it was used in crimes.
