The Special Prosecutor's Office has seized the assets of several officials and former Police officials.
Sources from the anti-corruption structure have confirmed that a property investigation is being carried out against Oltion Bistri, the former director of the Operational Forces, the former head of Kurbin Dritan Metaj, the former head of crimes of police station No. 6 Dedan Gjoni, writes TCH.
A property investigation is also being carried out against the former head of crimes against the person in Shkodër, Ardit Hasanbega. All are under arrest. Also, for Sokol Idrizajn, verifications are being made for his property.
It is learned that the special prosecutor's office is also verifying the assets of several other former police officials, among them Erzen Breçani and a policeman Arlind Ismailukaj, caught in the investigation of Kurbin, where Gezim Cela, an accused former police officer, was declared wanted again. for international drug trafficking.
The arrest of Erzen Breçan and Dedan Gjon
The dismantling of the SKY ECC application led to the crackdown on a criminal group that turns out to be involved in drug trafficking from Latin America to Europe, as well as in criminal events that took place in Albania, part of which are suspected to be police officials and former officials .
Of the 11 people for whom arrest warrants were issued, the former deputy director of the Tirana Police, Erzen Breçani, the chief of crimes at Police Station number 6, Dedan Gjoni and Bujar Germizi, a well-known name of the underworld in Kukësi, were arrested.

Oltion Bistri's arrest
Meanwhile, among those arrested in the Metamorfoza operation in July of this year, among the names of senior police officials, Oltion Bistri, the former head of the Operation, was arrested by order of SPAK.
As it was reported earlier, Bistri was previously dismissed from the aforementioned position, to be appointed as a Specialist in the Directorate of Crimes in Volum.
We recall that Bistri had assumed the position of Chief of Operations, a position of importance for interceptions in the Police structure, years ago in February. With the new changes in the State Police, the Directorate of Crimes has been divided into two sectors, Volume and Serious, while the division is made according to the importance of criminality.
In the fall of 2021, Oltion Bistri was on duty at the Lezha Police, while earlier he also headed the Durrës Police. Bistri was also the head of Commissariat No. 2 in Tirana.
The arrest of Kurbin's former boss, Dritan Metaj
Dritan Metajn, the former head of Kurbini police station, was arrested by SPAK as part of the criminal group of drug trafficker Gëzim Çela.
Furthermore, in the SPAK file, the continuation of the "Flame at Sea" operation, which started on August 15 of this year, appears to play an important role in drug trafficking. It is said that dozens of cell phone communications have been discovered for Meta and Çela, some of which were seized after the yacht was caught on fire at sea. Among them were found numerous conversations between Metaj and Gëzim Çelaj and the other 2 wanted.
