40-year-old Adriatik Čeka, wanted for attempted murder, was arrested by the Elbasan police.

"Following the intense actions of the Police, carried out within the framework of the national police operation coded "Rule of Law", for the capture of wanted citizens based on the information provided by the police intelligence, the services of the Peqin Police Station, of the Special Force FNSh and those of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person, located, captured and handcuffed the citizen A. Ç., 40 years old, a resident of Peqin.
For this citizen, the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction has set the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Deliberate murder", remaining in the attempt, and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
On 24.11.2023, in the neighborhood "Xami", Peqin, during a conflict for weak motives with citizen AL, citizen A. Ç. fired a firearm at him.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions," the police announced.
