A more sensational arrest but one that will apparently be closed without any charges.
The special prosecution has requested that the criminal file against Arsen Preçin and Arben Spahiu be dismissed as the criminal offense is not verified.
The special prosecutor's office requested the suspension of the investigation for Arsen Preçi and Arba Spahiu, who were arrested in February of a year ago in Elbasan after the police had suspicions that they would commit a paid murder.
Clues for this crime came after the cleaning worker found a pistol firearm in the Emin Matraxhiu neighborhood, and in search of traces, the prosecution discovered a stolen "BMW X6" type car filled with 3 automatic weapons and a pistol and two canisters of gasoline.
During the control of the area, the police also found forged Greek documents with photos of Arben Spahi.
Also a strong piece of evidence was a cigarette butt found inside the BME car that the Elbasan prosecutor's office said belonged to Arsen Preçi.
At that time, two arrested persons denied having anything to do with the event in question, stating that a trap had been set up for them. For further investigation, the case was transferred to the special structure.
This prosecutor, after having familiarized himself with the investigative documents, decided to change the security measure for Arsen Preçi and Arben Spahiu, leaving them under obligation to appear.
But it seems that the evidence was not enough to charge him and in such conditions he asked for the suspension of these investigations./ Ora
