The Court of Korça has imprisoned Durim Toska, the former director of Fushë Kruja Prison, who three days ago was arrested red-handed in Pogradec for violence against his wife and possession of weapons and military ammunition without a permit.
His wife had a protection order from the court, while the arrest of Durim Toska came after the search by the Pogradec police, who also found an illegal weapon in his apartment.
His arrest was learned 1 hour after the press office of the Ministry of Justice informed about the dismissal of Toska from the post of the Director of the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Offenses in Fushë Krujë.
The announcement stated that the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, had taken this step after the proposal of the General Director of Prisons, basing the decision on ethical and legal criteria violated by Durim Toska.
