"He got up from his chair and approached the judge," the injured

Ervis Kurtaj, one of those injured by the perpetrator Elvis Shkambaj, testified before investigators about the incident that occurred in court.

He, along with his father, Ragip Kurti, was in the premises of the Court of Appeal, where they are also parties in the conflict with the Shkambi family, who claim that the land belongs to them.

Police sources indicate that during his statements to the police, he stated that the incident happened completely suddenly and that as soon as he heard the explosions, he tried to leave with his father.

"When judge Astrit Kalaja made a decision in our favor, at that moment Elvis got out of his chair and approached him, shooting him several times with a firearm. It appeared to be a small weapon, but as soon as I heard the shots, I grabbed my dad by the hand and started to leave towards the corridor, where as soon as I passed the door of the hall, Elvis turned and shot at us."

"The mother and daughter, who were injured by the gun fired by Elvis Shkambaj, received treatment at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where they left the hospital the day before and left for their apartment," Kurtaj testified.
