Caught with over 11 kg of cocaine, the Albanian is arrested in France

An Albanian was caught by the French police, as he was transporting 11.5 kg of cocaine. It is known that the amount of 11.5 kg of cocaine was seized by the customs officers of the Montmélian brigade in France. While the seizure was carried out on board a "Nissan" X-Trail vehicle.

After removing it using a grinder, agents discovered a plate that gave access to a metal box that spanned the entire width of the vehicle. In total, 11.5 kg of cocaine divided into 10 packages were found and seized. The driver of the vehicle, an Albanian citizen, was immediately arrested.

He was tried on Monday in an immediate procedure by the criminal court of Albertville, which sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment and a 747 thousand euro customs fine.
