Two brothers from Lezha have been arrested by the police for possessing narcotics, weapons and ammunition.
During a search of two apartments in the village of Skuraj, Arben Frati and Levend Frati, approximately 10 kilograms of suspected cannabis sativa narcotic substance, 1 rifle firearm, 85 detonator capsules, 2 shotguns and combat ammunition were found in the apartment.
Both brothers have been arrested, while the procedural materials will be passed on to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.

DVP Lezhë/The police operation codenamed "Hideout" is being finalized, to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics and illegal possession of weapons.
Found hidden in 2 apartments in the village of Skuraj and seized: approximately 10 kilograms of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa, 1 rifle firearm, 85 detonator capsules, 2 shotguns and combat ammunition.
The 2 brothers who owned them were arrested.
Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Operational Investigation Support Section, the "Eagle" Special Force and the Kurbin Police Commissariat, based on information provided by intelligence on a case in the field of narcotics, have organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Hideout". As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:
AF, 46 years old, after during a search of his apartment, in the village of Skuraj, Kurbin, 9 kilograms and 810 grams of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa and 1 shotgun, which this citizen possessed without a permit, were found;
LF, 52 years old, after during a search of his apartment in the village of Skuraj, Kurbin, 1 rifle firearm, 85 detonator capsules, 1 shotgun and a quantity of combat ammunition were found, which this citizen possessed without a permit.
Investigations are ongoing to fully document the criminal activities of these two citizens. The procedural materials were passed on to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.
