In the trial held at the Special Court, the repentant justice minister, Nuredin Dumani, spoke about his plan to kill Talo Çela and Altin Ndoci.
"I went to meet Erion Alibej to negotiate to kill Talo Çela and Altin Ndoci, I did not want to kill them with my own hand," he is said to have said in the court session taking place at the GJKKO.
He explained why Erjon Alibey had requested a meeting with him and his plans to eliminate his opponents.
"Elio Bitri introduced me to Erion Alibey. I was informed that Erion Alibey wanted to meet me. And Elio told me that Erion Alibey has followed in your footsteps, that my brother shot at Alibey's brother and his family.
At Eljo Bitri's house, I met with Arjan Spahiu, a relative of Erjon Alibej, to clarify that I was not the person who shot at his brother and his family.
"When I met Erjon Alibej, they didn't go to negotiate for murder. I went to meet Erjon Alibej to negotiate to kill Talo Çela and Altin Ndoci, I didn't want to kill them with my own hand. I wanted Erjon to kill them with his men. After meeting Erjon, everything changed and we both decided to eliminate our opponents ," he said.
