Two people have fallen into the hands of the Swiss authorities after being caught with drugs.

Their arrest came after the Swiss cantonal police carried out an investigation carried out in cooperation with the anti-drug services.

In connection with the operation, a 25-year-old Albanian living in Albania and a 37-year-old Swiss citizen living in the Bellinzona area were arrested.

The Albanian, suspected of being involved in a significant drug trafficking activity targeting local actors, was arrested in Giubiasco.

He was found in the woman's apartment, where about 500 grams of cocaine were found. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of the 37-year-old. Their crimes are a felony and a violation of the federal narcotics law and a violation of the federal alien and integration law. The investigations are coordinated by public prosecutor Roberto Ruggeri.
