The court of first instance Shkodër has imposed the security measure of "prison arrest" for the citizen Mersin Mlloja from Vau i Dejës.
The 38-year-old man tried to kill two citizens, a mother and a son, for weak motives by hitting them with a vehicle in the lane dedicated to pedestrians.
Mersin Mlloja worked as a nurse, while the 60-year-old citizen Dave Ndoja, with whom he had a conflict, is a nurse at another health center in Vau Dejës.
The defense lawyer of the 38-year-old Besmir Kolçe asked for the security measure "compulsion to appear" because in the published video, when the citizen Mersin Mlloja approaches the citizen Dave Ndoja and her son Kristjan Ndoja, he braked, reducing the speed almost completely. Also, mother and son received minor injuries and from the first moment they were out of danger for their lives.
Also, the defense side stated that this action came under stressful psychological conditions due to the bullying that the 60-year-old woman did to her colleague during a training session for nurses in Bushat of Vau Dejës. According to the lawyer, but also from the statements of the 38-year-old citizen Dave Ndoja, addressed her colleague saying that "you are going to the garbage can. How do you know anything, you are crippled".
These insults from the 60-year-old came because of a physical problem that Mersin Mlloja has with one of her legs. The 38-year-old, after being bullied and insulted several times in that training by his colleague, took that action with a vehicle shortly after the gathering of nurses, but without causing serious damage.
Despite the claims of the defense side, prosecutor Ledion Teme asked for the security measure "prison arrest", while judge Egla Mirashi accepted the request of the prosecution, leaving 38-year-old Mersin Mlloja in custody. The latter is suspected of the criminal offense of "intentional murder" pending trial.
