An accident occurred around noon today near the music school in Fier, where a pedestrian was hit by a "Range Rover" type vehicle.
The victim has been identified as Kreshnik Tomani, 35, a father of three. According to witnesses, he was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old who was driving without a driver's license.
The collision was very strong and caused serious injuries.
Immediately after the incident, Tomani was initially transported to the Fier Regional Hospital, but due to his serious condition, he was taken to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana. Doctors confirm that he is in a coma and intubated, fighting for his life.
Fier Police have accompanied the teenager who was driving the vehicle and have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
