An old apartment was engulfed in flames this afternoon in the city center of Elbasan.
The fire, which broke out around 12:09, caused panic among residents of the area due to its proximity to other homes and businesses.
Firefighters immediately intervened at the scene with three vehicles and 10 personnel, who were able to isolate and extinguish the flames within an hour.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the apartment was severely damaged. The causes of the fire are still unclear and are being investigated by the relevant authorities.
