Selami Brahimi is the person who was injured on Thursday evening in the "Xhabiej" neighborhood in Shkodër.
He was inside the vehicle during the Kalashnikov shooting.
The author has escaped, while it is not yet known whether it is an assassination or a momentary conflict.
The director of the local police of Shkodra, Edmond Sulaj, said that they are working on clarifying this incident and that the security cameras are being examined and the witnesses and the injured person were questioned.
"At 17:50 here in the "Xhabiej" neighborhood, citizen Selami Brahimi was shot with a firearm, who was slightly injured and is receiving treatment in the Shkodra hospital. An investigative group has been formed under the direction of the prosecution and is working on the complete documentation of the event. Security cameras are being taken and eyewitnesses who know about the incident are being questioned. In the meantime, the injured party will be interviewed. As for the causes, the investigation group is working to clarify the circumstances. We are working intensively to solve it and we assure the citizens that the local police of Shkodra has all the capacities to solve such events", said director Sulaj.
"Around 17:55, in the neighborhood "10 Korriku", Shkodër, the car of citizen SB (which was banned) was shot with a firearm. As a result, the owner of the vehicle, citizen SB, was injured without danger to his life. The cameras are being checked and the control of the area by the Police services is continuing to make it possible to identify and catch the author/s", according to the police.
