44-year-old Anila Ndoka has passed away at Shkodra Hospital.
Anila Ndoka, who was shot in the head by her cohabitant Kol Manaj, dies after six days in hospital. The 44-year-old was in intensive care at the Shkodra hospital, after she was not transported to the Trauma Hospital in the capital due to her serious condition.
Anila Ndoka, a mother of 3 children, was seriously injured on Tuesday morning in Shkodra. She was shot in the head by her partner with whom she lived. The perpetrator, Kol Manaj, 10 years younger than her, ended his life by shooting himself with a gun. According to the police, this is a crime of passion with a jealousy motive, as up to this stage of the investigation there is no indication of other conflicts in the couple.
The incident occurred a week ago in the "Mark Lula" neighborhood, or as it is otherwise known, in the former wood field in Shkodër. The couple was found inside a Volkswagen Touran car, owned by Anila Ndoka. Inside the vehicle, police found the pistol with which 34-year-old Kol Manaj shot his partner, and then himself, who died at the scene.
Ndoka has three children from her first marriage, one of whom lived with her and the other two with her ex-husband. For 4 years, she had been living with the perpetrator, who was unemployed at the time but had no problematic behavior.
Recently, she attempted to end their relationship, which is thought to have angered Manaj.
