The photo of 28-year-old Aleksandër Matoja, who was arrested red-handed while attempting to sell two pistols in the Fresku area of Tirana, to members of a criminal group operating in the area, has been published.
Matoja was arrested in the Allias area during an operation by officers of Police Station No. 4 in the capital.
Aleksandër Matoja, originally from Shkodra, is a person with a previous criminal record for the production and sale of narcotics within the framework of a structured criminal group.
He was caught with 2 pistols, which he was going to sell for 3,500 euros each. Authorities suspect that these weapons would be used in criminal activities, although further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.

"From the search of the vehicle in which he was traveling in Allias, 2 firearms were found, which he was suspected of selling to citizens who commit crimes against life and property," the police announced.
