"Saranda, the coded police operation "One" is finalized, as a result of close cooperation with the citizens. The 18-year-old man was caught in the act and put in handcuffs, hiding a firearm, a pistol and cartridges for it in the apartment. A firearm, a pistol, combat ammunition, and a small amount of suspected narcotic cocaine were seized.
As a result of the close and continuous cooperation with the citizens, in order to fulfill the common objectives, the guarantee of order and public security, as well as the attack on illegalities, the services of the Sarandë Police Station have organized the coded police operation "One", for the capture of a citizen who was carrying a firearm in the apartment.
During the operation, citizen E. Sh., 18 years old, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs, as during the search in his apartment, in neighborhood no. 1, Saranda, the Police found hidden a firearm, a pistol and military ammunition, which were possessed by this citizen, without a permit, as well as a small amount of the narcotic substance cocaine.
Weapons, cartridges and the narcotic substance cocaine were seized as material evidence. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, for further actions," the police announcement states.
