Albi Mecini, the person arrested for the quantity of 23 kg of tritol seized in the city of Fier, has decided to appeal the court's decision, disagreeing with the appointment of the security measure "arrest in prison".
On the day of the event, Mecini claims that he accidentally went to the place where the tritoli was found, as he was traveling in a rented car from Tirana towards Vlora, where he was going to rest for a few days.
The same form, Mecini, has chosen to take the decision of the court of Saranda, which set a few days ago the security measure for the kidnapping and disappearance of Fatmir Sulovar and Leonard Theodhor.
The two decisions that leave Mecini in prison, that of Saranda and Fier, are expected to be examined in the Tirana Court of Appeal, from where Albi Mecini hopes to change the security measure and be released from the cell.
Albi Mècini, was discovered by biological traces that have emerged in the serious event of the kidnapping and disappearance of Fatmir Sulovari and Leonard Theodhor.
Biological traces were discovered in a water canister seized in a residence located in the village of Nivicë in Himara. Since April, the two missing persons have not yet been found.
Until now, Albi Mecini and Sofokli Baxheri have been arrested for the serious crime.
While Ervis Cukali and Sebastian Lataj are the other two names that are suspected of being involved in the kidnapping and disappearance of two people in Saranda. The leadership of this criminal group is believed to be carried out by Admir Tafilaj, a convict from Shkodra who is serving a prison sentence eternal.
