The investigator has in her hands all the material from the double murder in Finikounda on October 5, of the Greek owner of the campsite and his Albanian worker, to whom he had left half of his estate.
The lawyer for the campsite owner's granddaughter said her client has requested that her phone privacy be revoked, as she wants the crime to be fully solved and suspects that the people involved may be family members. "She was his beloved granddaughter, they spoke together every day," she said.
More specifically, Katerina Fragaki, lawyer for the 68-year-old's niece, said: " Last Friday we were in Kalamata, where I saw the whole system working very quickly. Since I have handled other similar cases, here I see really fast reflexes, something that has made us particularly happy, because my client is a very important witness."
"Let's not forget that she was his beloved niece, with whom he (the victim) spoke every day, exchanging many messages. Our only problem is that unfortunately her mobile phone has not saved the messages at the moment and we do not have much important material. In the coming days we will do everything we can to have the privacy of her mobile phone removed, so that we can also help the investigator in this way," she added.
Further, the teenager's lawyer also explains the investigative procedures that are being followed.
"Right now we are at the stage where the investigation is 'in progress', which will take time and this time is very important. The better the authorities tie up this matter, the better things will go in court, so that the judges can do what they have to do and what we want. We want to see all the participants in this tragedy, where this man (the 68-year-old owner) and the caretaker were lost. All questions will be answered by the investigation, they will be given to the court and the judges will be able to have a fair trial. My client excludes the possibility that these two children suddenly committed such a crime."
She insists that according to the client, there are other people involved or organizers, including the family, and demands that everything be verified.
"My client had a number of questions from the beginning and asked them to me. She herself excludes the possibility that only these two children who had no connection with her uncle, who was a very good man, suddenly committed such a crime against a person they did not know, had no connection with and in the end had nothing to gain from all this ," explained the lawyer of the 68-year-old's niece.
She emphasized that if it were a robbery or a settling of scores, we would see other elements that do not exist now.
"My client's mind is going everywhere, she does not believe that a culprit will be found, but much more as instigators or as necessary collaborators, both from the family environment and outside it ," the lawyer said.
