Sources from the investigative group confirm that the number of Greek citizens who have fallen prey to this fraud scheme reaches 5,000.
The amounts stolen from their accounts range from three thousand to five thousand euros. The group defrauded Greek citizens, inviting them to invest in cryptocurrencies.
Those who agreed to become part of the fictitious investment scheme were asked by the group to download a program to their computer, through which data was hacked and bank accounts were emptied.
The investigation shows that all 7 people employed by the two arrested were from Fieri.
