A serious event happened on Wednesday evening in Kefalonia, Greece.
A 25-year-old Albanian massacred with a knife, hitting an elderly man 10 times, who is in a serious condition in the hospital of Ioannina.
According to the police, the 25-year-old was accompanied by an 18-year-old compatriot. The two Albanians first broke the glass of the old man's house in Agia Efimia, while the 25-year-old entered the house and the 18-year-old guarded.
ERT reports that when the 73-year-old entered his house, the 25-year-old Albanian attacked him with a knife, hitting him about 10 times in the stomach and shoulder. The two robbers then left.
The victim managed to get out bleeding into the street and call for help, collapsing to the ground in the nearest house he found. The 73-year-old was first taken to the Argostoli hospital where he underwent an operation, but in the end it was deemed necessary to be transported by helicopter to the University Hospital of Ioannina.
Finally, the two Albanians were arrested on Thursday afternoon by the security forces of Argostoli and the Crime Prevention and Suppression Team (OPKE) of Kefalonia.
