Nikol Sherrniku has addressed the Court of Appeal in Tirana with a request to soften the security measure "arrest in prison", this measure was decided a few days ago, after suspicions that Sherrniku was involved in the assassination attempt against the brothers of Fatjon Murat, in "Don Bosco".

Sherrnik has categorically denied that he knows anything about the assassination of "Don Bosco", as he was in the "Shën Kolli" prison at the time when the crime took place.

It is known that the man who is considered by the criminal police as Ervis Martinaj's driver, requests from the Court of Appeal to overturn the security measure of arrest in prison, and his investigation to a milder measure.

It is expected that the session will take place in the following days, while the investigations into the assassination in the "Don-Bosko" area have been stopped precisely at Nikoll Sherrniku.

The name of Nikoll Shërrnik, as a suspected person, is implicated in this criminal event, through the German license plate "RE HX 112", which on March 12, 2023 was used in the "BMË X6" type vehicle, where he was shot with an automatic weapon in the direction of Fation Murat's bar.

For the first time, the name of Nikoll Sherrnik was mentioned by a Syrian citizen who works in a service station in Germany.

The purpose of this armed attack was the killing of Ervis and Elvin Murati, the brothers of Fation Murati. But the bartender Mimoza Paja was killed in this attack, while Shehat Murati, Astrit Memaj, Genci Shaholli, Ermir Dajçuk, Emanuel Çala and 10-year-old RP were injured.

Thahir Alleat, of Syrian nationality but an employee at the "Gago" service premises in Gladbeck, Germany, helped identify Nikoll Shërrnik.

Syriani Alleat initially claimed to its Kosovar owner, Gazmend Jakupi, that he had received the "REHX 112" license plate and two other license plates in 2020 from the premises of the Service, Nikoll Shërrniku.
