Saedet Myftija, former football player from Tërbun, who was wanted for two serious criminal events that happened in the summer of last year in Velipoja, has been arrested by the police of Shkodra.
The 28-year-old is facing several charges. On May 30 of last year, together with another person, he violently assaulted a 64-year-old man, after a fight over the space for placing sunbeds on the beach of Velipoja.
About a month later, although he was wanted by the police, Muftia managed to plant a small amount of explosives in the garage of a businessman's apartment in the "10 July" neighborhood in Shkodër. From the explosion, the damage to the 52-year-old's garage was only material.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Destruction of property with explosives", "Destruction of property", "Intentional minor injury" and "Theft". . The 28-year-old resident of Shkodër was arrested as part of the operation "Rule of Law".
