A 25-year-old man was arrested by the police in Saranda, after being accused of two thefts.
The police inform that during the physical check, a knife and an ax were found on the 25-year-old.
It is learned that in cooperation with another person, the 25-year-old tried to steal a store with electrical appliances as well as a sum of money from another store.
"The services of the Sarandë Police Station, following the work for the prevention of thefts, clarifying those that happened before and bringing the perpetrators to legal responsibility, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, successfully finalized the coded police operation "Storm 26," as a result of which the citizen was imprisoned:
EN, 25 years old, resident of Saranda, for the criminal offense "Theft".
During the physical check, a knife and an ax were found on this citizen.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, in cooperation with another citizen, on 12.10.2024, in neighborhood no. 4, tried to steal an electrical appliance store, while on 13.10.2024, in neighborhood no. 4, they stole a lot of money in a store.
Work continues on documenting other thefts that may have been committed by these citizens.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
