After a session which lasted over nine hours, the Court of Kukes has confirmed the security measures for 22 policemen, who are accused of abuse of duty.
They are accused of setting up a scheme to steal fine payments applied to drivers.
Out of 22 suspected policemen, six were left in prison, four under house arrest and twelve others under "compulsory appearance"
We remind you that 22 officers misused access to police systems. The police officers in the field ascertained the violation, administered the monetary amount by giving the driver the relevant record and subsequently did not collect the funds and did not make the corresponding reflections in the system, with the aim of illegally acquiring the monetary values.
It turns out that from the administrative fines, the 22 officers managed to acquire an amount of 2,200,000 ALL.
