The perpetrator of today's murder in Durrës was arrested a few hours after the crime.
47-year-old Halil Koka was stabbed to death by his neighbor in neighborhood no. 4 of Durrës, near the 9-year school "Jusuf Puka".
The author has been identified as 35-year-old Ilir Koçilja. Residents of the area have declared to the police that the author is a problematic person, previously denounced for threats. According to them, the 35-year-old suffered from mental health problems and was admitted twice to the Psychiatry of Elbasan.
The police interrogated Koka's family members, who stated that Ilir Koçilja owed them a sum of money. The police's suspicion so far is that the victim may have asked for the debt, so they ended up in a physical confrontation. The same sources said that they also argued about a parking space in front of the palace.
