The victim Arben Lleshi, who was executed yesterday by Sokol Mjacaj inside his cell in Peqin prison, was serving a life sentence for the murder of Agim Hoxha and the burning of his body, which happened in 2012.
He was caught in England and then extradited to Albania where he was sentenced to life imprisonment. His brother was also imprisoned, who had helped him burn Agim Hoxha's body and destroy the evidence.
After that, the saga of murders and kidnappings in the Lleshi tribe continued.
Triggered by yesterday's event, where Mjacaj has suspicions that he was contacted and paid by third parties to eliminate Lleshi, the Tirana police arrested 4 members of the Hoxha family in the capital.
It is known that 4 people, aged 20-25 years, were accompanied and after being interrogated, they were released.
The police carried out checks and took their cell phones, if they had any suspicious contacts or conversations related to Sokol Mjacaj.
Other persons are also being investigated. Mjacaj was contradictory in his testimony, while there are strong doubts that he killed Lleshi, as an order for third parties for blood feud motives.
Regarding the case in question, the two family members of Mjacaj, who had a meeting with him in Peqin prison about 2 months ago, will also be interrogated. While it still remains unclear how Mjacaj got the gun into the prison.
