The testimony of Sokol Mjacaj, sentenced to life imprisonment, who executed Arben Lleshin with a firearm and injured Indrit Shaqjan in Peqin prison, has been clarified.
In his testimony, Mjacaj said that he had secured the weapon 1 month ago, as it is suspected that the murder was ordered from abroad.
The Elbasan police have isolated the perpetrator of the crime and will be questioned again.
According to Mjacaj, the reason for the murder of Arben Lleshi is a conflict between them, since the latter did not accept him in the sector.
It is suspected that the weapon was manually inserted into the cell. Sources from the investigative group say that 13 people from the prison staff, from the director to the entire chain of command, have been detained.
