The person arrested for the murder of the elderly couple in the village of Bodrishte in Dropulli has denied to the investigators that he is the perpetrator.
Thoma Mastora has denied having beaten Kosta and Kleoniqi Ilian to death, despite the evidence found inside the couple's apartment.
"I am not the person who committed the crime, look for it somewhere else", declared the 69-year-old.
Apart from this sentence, Thoma Mastora has not agreed to answer any other questions. The 69-year-old man will appear before the court tomorrow, where he will be recognized with the security measure of arrest and imprisonment. No lawyer has agreed to defend the 69-year-old, while he has been assigned a state attorney.
Thoma Mastora was arrested the day before, May 5, after being accused of killing the elderly couple, Kosta and Kleoniqi Ilia, 80 and 84 years old. After drinking coffee in their apartment on May 2, after a momentary conflict he killed the couple and left.
The elderly were found to have signs of violence with hard objects on the head and other parts of the body. He is charged with the criminal charges of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances" and "Unauthorized possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition", since at the time of his arrest, a quantity of military ammunition was found on him, as well as the tool with which he killed the elderly. which has been sent for further examinations to the Scientific Police Institute.
