Alfred Lila, a Serious Crimes officer, told "Review" how they were able to reach the eldest son of the family, Hysen Meta, who was the author of his father's murder in Shënavlash, Durrës.
He said that a shell from the weapon used in the crime was found in the apartment, which refuted the girl's testimony that the crime had taken place in the cattle shed.
"It was around 3:00 p.m. when the crime was committed, the reason being the insults, they were often bullied by their father, he was put under pressure. The father had a conflict with the son because he was unemployed, he had come from abroad for two weeks and was unemployed. This was the conflict of that day, but according to the statements, they had planned the murder in time" , said the officer.
The officer revealed that in her initial testimony, the girl said she killed her father and buried him in the shed. But according to him, this runway collapsed after the officers found a shell inside the apartment. After finding the new evidence, the girl broke down and revealed the dynamics of the event that had taken place in the kitchen.
According to him, it was Hysen Meta, the older son who had shot at his father, while the younger dali and his sister had helped to cover the tracks.
"Another very important piece of evidence was found in the apartment, which refuted the girl's alibi that the incident had happened at the hut. And with our persistence, working with the suspect, it was possible to prove the fact that the event had happened inside the apartment in the kitchen . Hyseni had carried out the murder with an illegal gun that his father carried. It was a shell that was found in the apartment that made us think that the murder was not committed in the hut as the girl said, but in the apartment ," he said.
