Renato Hoxhaj was executed on the morning of April 27, 2025 in the Hajro Çakërri neighborhood in Vlora, while there are suspicions that the crime was ordered from Dubai.
Although law enforcement authorities have not officially provided a lead on why the 58-year-old was killed, there are suspicions that his execution was carried out following suspicions that he was playing a double game between criminal groups.
Today, the Vlora Police arrested 42-year-old Kleanth Bylyku alias Armando Gega, a character known to the police, previously convicted of illegal possession of weapons, while he is suspected of being a member of one of the criminal groups in the coastal city.
His arrest comes almost 3 months after the arrest of Elis Mehmeti, who was captured 3 days after the crime, on suspicion of having supported the perpetrator of the murder.
But who is the victim's executioner?
Reports suggest that he is suspected to be a Romanian citizen, already identified by Albanian police. According to Report TV, after the crime, he managed to leave Albania.
In the crime against Hoxhaj, it is suspected that 3 vehicles were used, which served to remove the perpetrator, but also his accomplices.
