The execution with 4 bullets to the head, of the two brothers Martin and Andrea Olldashi and then their burying in an irrigation canal, has opened another investigative track, forcing the Korca prosecutor's office to carry out investigative actions in North Macedonia.
The serious criminal event took place in December 2020 in Shqitas village of Maliq municipality, where it is believed that the Olldashi brothers were kidnapped and then killed with a blow to the head from a "Zastava" pistol.
At the scene, the police found 4 cartridges fired from the crime weapon, but they turned out not to be registered in the list of the "Arsenal" system of the State Police.
Among dozens of investigative actions, the Korça prosecutor's office, hoping to uncover this criminal event and arrest the perpetrators of the gruesome murder of the two Olldashi brothers, has extended its hand of cooperation to the Macedonian police.
In April 2022, the investigation group addressed a letter to the Ministry of Justice of North Macedonia, regarding the verification of a person named Flamur Dauti, arrested for drugs in the village of Prilep of this state.
Through operational information, it has been learned that the two murdered brothers, Martin and Andrea Olldashi, were involved in criminal activity in the field of narcotics, usury, theft and destruction of property with explosives, as well as providing assistance for illegal border crossing.
During the conducted investigations, several verifications were carried out, raising strong suspicions that the two murdered brothers had a connection and cooperation with the person arrested on December 8, 2020 in North Macedonia.
This person was arrested with 53 kg of marijuana, which he had imported from Albania. His arrest was carried out on the evening of December 8, when in Albania, the two Olldashi brothers were killed with 4 bullets.
Dauti knew Andrea Olldash and it is believed that together they cooperated for the sale and trafficking in Macedonia of 53 kg of marijuana.
Based on these data, the Korça prosecutor's office requested cooperation with the Macedonian police, offering the possibility of questioning the arrested Flamur Dauti, his verification as well as a copy of the investigative file where he is accused of drug trafficking by the Macedonian prosecutor's office.
Up to this stage where the criminal case is located, the prosecution has not yet received a concrete answer from the Macedonian officials, meanwhile, from March 18, 2024, the investigations into the two sensational murders have been suspended, pending an official answer from the justice system of North Macedonia ./ Ora News
