The photo of the suspected perpetrator of the murder of 26-year-old Ardian Baloshi, an incident that occurred this Monday afternoon in Kamëz, has been published.
According to information so far, the suspected perpetrator has been identified as 39-year-old Sadik Llanaj, who is suspected of having fled the scene in a vehicle after the crime. Sources indicate that he is considered armed, while numerous police forces continue the search for his capture.
Police have set up checkpoints on main road axes and are conducting intensive searches in several areas of the country to locate the suspect.
According to preliminary investigations, Ardian Baloshi was shot with a gun on "Dervish Luzha" street in Kamëz, after a conflict over weak motives. The young man was urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital, but did not survive the injuries he sustained.
Preliminary sources indicate that the conflict that ended in tragedy is suspected to have started after a fight during a soccer game. Meanwhile, eyewitness Amarildo Vukaj has also been taken to the police, and is being questioned to help fully unravel the incident.
Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the investigative group is continuing its work to fully document the crime and clarify all the circumstances that led to the murder of the 26-year-old.
