New details have been published in the Italian media regarding the murder of Elson Kalaveri, an event that occurred on August 18, 2022 in Sasso Pisano, Italy.
Shkëlzen Keçi is the initiator of this serious event. He wanted to avenge the death of his brother Gent Keçi.
The latter was seriously injured in 2014 by Kolaveri at the Mamurras police station and died a few years later.
The Italian media have focused on Keçi's collaborators to carry out the assassination. Initially, he was a 40-year-old Albanian resident in Castelnuovo Val di Cecina.
"When the compatriot (Keçi) asked him for help to solve a personal issue, the 40-year-old resident of Castelnuovo Val di Cecina was immediately ready," writes Il Tirreno.
According to the same sources, this person also had accounts to settle with Kalaveri. There were arguments between the two over a debt related to a quantity of drugs.
Using this reasoning, the 40-year-old Albanian convinced the 36-year-old Kalaveri to meet. Thus the way was devised to ensnare the young man.
The task of executing him was given to 3 Neapolitan murderers, a 26-year-old and a 45-year-old who shot with guns, while a 30-year-old was in their support.
On the day of the murder, the victim arrived in Sasso Pisano around 17:00. He met in a bar with the Albanian who had trapped him. At this moment, the Albanian's "work" was over.
Kalaveri was accompanied by another Albanian, who was driving a Mercedes Benz car. After leaving the bar, the killers were informed about the presence of their target.
When the Benz enters the street, it is blocked by a car, and this is where the suli started. The driver tries to leave and goes in the direction of a pizzeria, with flat tires. Here they tried to give first aid to Kalaveri, but everything had ended.
The perpetrators of this event were arrested a few days ago. The mastermind of this event, Shkëlzen Keçi, was caught in Fushë Krujë and is expected to be extradited to Italy. The rest of the perpetrators were caught in the neighboring country.
