A serious incident took place in district number 10 of the city of Korça yesterday evening, where citizen Aleko Myrtollari shot his wife Marjola Myrtollari with a knife.
The woman was found in serious condition by the 16-year-old girl who notified the police. Marjola Myrtollari was urgently transported to the city hospital where she is receiving the necessary medical care.
According to the information from the scene, it is said that the couple had quarrels and problems between each other for a long time and 1 and a half months ago they moved from Tirana to Korça. Husband Aleko Myrtollari used violence against Manjola Myrtollari.
The couple's children were in the apartment, but the perpetrator (the father) took them out and then stabbed his wife several times. On the other hand, it is known that the husband consumed alcohol and was often drunk. He worked abroad for a few months, while his wife was unemployed.
According to the data, the married couple lived on rent, had conflicts due to reasons of jealousy, the husband suspected his wife of treason. Sources from the hospital inform that the woman is in the intensive care unit in a very critical condition.
