This evening, a double injury was reported in the village of Grudë e Re in Shkodër. Jjon Nika and his brother-in-law Gjergj Ndershtiqa, a student at the security academy, were injured in unclear circumstances.
They were transported to the regional hospital of Shkodra for medical assistance, where they are out of danger.
A few minutes after the event, a burned vehicle and two pistol firearms were found at the scene, but it is not yet known who the perpetrators or the two injured belonged to.
The police, RENEA and forensic specialists have surrounded the area in order to identify and capture the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, so far it has been learned that the injured were driving a car, together with a third person, at the moment when the assassination attempt took place against them.
There were three people in the vehicle that caught fire due to the barrage of bullets, two of whom were injured.
Meanwhile, it is believed that there are two perpetrators who shot a significant amount of bullets with Kalashnikov automatic firearms and left in an unknown direction.
The incident took place near a bar which has security cameras and the police are investigating to identify the perpetrators.
So, the perpetrators burned their vehicle in another place not far from the event.
