The Greek authorities have solved a murder that happened on October 17, 2023 in Menidi, Greece, where a 38-year-old man died.
The latter was stabbed and died due to bleeding.
According to the investigations of the Greek police, it turns out that the suspected perpetrator is a 41-year-old Albanian with the initials O.Ll. from Lushnja, who has been identified and declared wanted.
The murder is suspected to have happened because of drugs. According to family members, the victim was a drug user.
Eyewitnesses were those who helped the Greek police build the dynamics and identify the perpetrator.
According to 2 eyewitnesses, the victim and the 41-year-old Albanian had a heated argument about drugs. The perpetrator then stabbed her in the thigh, causing her to bleed.
After the murder, the perpetrator fled on foot towards the center of Menid. After his identification by witnesses, the Greek police tapped the author's phone. According to the Greek media, in a conversation that the 41-year-old Albanian had with his relatives, he told them that he had "killed someone" without giving more details.
According to the Greek media, the Albanian escaped illegally to Albania and according to them is hiding in the area of Divjaka.
The 41-year-old Albanian is a person filed earlier by the Greek police and has been accused of illegal possession of weapons, criminal organization, false testimony, robbery. In the period when he killed the 38-year-old, he was staying illegally in Greece.
