Two people have been arrested by the blue uniforms in Velipoja, after cultivating 270 cannabis roots in 6 minisera.
33-year-old Oraldo Jaku and 28-year-old Luigj Shejna were caught red-handed by the police services discovering the mines, which they covered with plasmas during the night.
Earlier, as part of the coded operation "Baks 1", a 19-year-old man was arrested and 2 firearms (1 pistol and 1 Kalashnikov) and military ammunition were seized.
"The coded police operation "Baks 2" is finalized, as a result of several weeks of investigative work with proactive methods.
Thanks to police intelligence, the use of Police drones and proactive investigations, 6 minisera where 270 suspected cannabis sativa plants were cultivated were identified and destroyed.
The two suspected perpetrators of this criminal activity were caught and arrested red-handed, taking care of miniseries with cannabis.

In implementation of the tasks defined in the plan of measures aimed at preventing and combating criminal activity in the field of cultivation and production of cannabis, the investigative structures of the Shkodër Police Station and the Velipojë Police Station, thanks to the police intelligence of two citizens from the village of Baks , had erected 6 minisera inside which they had cultivated narcotic plants, referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, which registered the criminal proceedings.
After several weeks of proactive investigations, the services of the Shkodër Police Station, in cooperation with the services of the Velipoja Police Station, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Baks 2".
As part of the operation, the Police services, using drones to monitor the movements of the perpetrators, caught and arrested the following citizens in the act:
- OJ, 33 years old and L. Sh., 28 years old, both residents of Baks village, Velipojë.
These citizens were caught in the act by the Police services by discovering the miniseries, which they covered with plasmas during the night.
The investigative team seized as material evidence a quantity of narcotic plants and other evidence that will serve the investigation, while the rest of the plants were destroyed by burning. The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the Police announced.
