New details are revealed from the serious event in Tirana, where a young mother died together with her baby. She is Brunilda Deliu, 37 years old, living in Shkoza, Tirana.
Media sources inform that she was admitted to the "Queen Geraldine" maternity hospital, where she lost the baby in her womb on Saturday and then developed complications.
Due to her serious health condition, she was sent from the maternity hospital to QSUNT, but she still could not make it and passed away yesterday at 07:00 in the morning.
In front of the investigators, the young woman's husband stated that the doctors tried until the end and did not succeed, as there were no complaints about the health service.
The cause of death is claimed to be hemolysis of the blood, related to autoimmune problems.
This pathology that appeared during pregnancy complicated the health condition of the woman, which led to the birth of the stillborn baby.
The woman continued to have hemolysis of blood cells (problems with red blood cells) and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the central hospital where bilirubin continued to be high, which caused the mother to die after the baby.
