The triangle of a forbidden passionate love between the princess of Ethiopia, Aida, the commander of the army of Egypt, Radamès, and the daughter of the Pharaoh, Amneris.
The event takes another turn when Radamès is ordered to fight in battle against the nation of Ethiopia, not knowing that Aida is their princess, and tells her the entire military plan.
The wonderful story was premiered at TKOB, with Giuseppe Verdi's eternal opera, "Aida", on the 23rd and will be served to the Albanian public until the 27th of June.
Verdi's enchanting music with powerful chorales, enchanting arias and sweeping orchestral passages conveys the emotional depth of the opera, which comes under the directorial, set and costume ideas of the iconic maestro Franco Zefirelli, director Stefano Trespidi, and the assistance of director Ada Stones.
A large-scale work came from the Symphony Orchestra, Soloists, Choir and Ballet Troupe of TKOB, conducted by maestro Jacopo Sipari di Pescasserolli and maestro Dritan Lumshit, performed by well-known Albanian and foreign artists.
