The well-known Albanian cinematographer Yllka Mujo celebrates her 71st birthday today.
Her daughter, Elia Zaharia, also congratulated her on her birthday, calling her "the star of the family":
Yllka Mujon started her first contact with the stage at the age of 8, when she says she was accepted by Tonin Harapi as a soloist and singer at the Palace of Pioneers.
Her dream to become an actress was encouraged by her father, who in his early youth had wanted to become an actor himself, but could not. The father encouraged the unrealized dream to his daughter, who realized it by becoming not only an actress, but also one of the most successful in Albania.
Her roles in Albanian films are numerous, such as: Red flowers, black flowers, The pirates' cave, Who brought Doruntina, Reconstruction, Taulanti is looking for a sister, When the foundations were laid, The lady from the city, Beni walks alone, The streets they were looking for sun, Mountains with purchase covered, I eighth in bronze.
